A Long Standing Beacon Institution.
Our goal is to build character using the sport of softball as a tool to improve girl's self-confidence and self-esteem,
inspiring better and more productive citizens in our community.
Beacon Girls Softball (BGS) has been a long-standing local Beacon institution for more than 40 years,
educating 4-13 year old girls on the skills and rules of fast-pitch softball!
For the past 25 years, countless volunteers have dedicated their time to the promotion of the BGS program,
which is currently managed by a Board of Directors of Beacon residents.
BGS also imparts life lessons that include working as a team, the spirit of giving, camaraderie and good sportsmanship.
