Mission of Beacon Girls Softball
Beacon Girls Softball's Mission is to provide a positive, fun softball experience for each player, parent and coach. We are dedicated to the education, and long-term player development of physical, emotional, and social skills.
Good sportsmanship (respecting rules, opponents, officials, teammates, parents, and one’s self), team unity, friendships, as well as softball skills are nurtured
as part of the program. We commit to the advancement of
fast-pitch softball in the City of Beacon.

BGS practices what it teaches by giving back to the Beacon community and spearheading many additions and improvements at
Memorial Field throughout the years.
With the generous help and donations of numerous volunteers and sponsors from the surrounding community, BGS built the concession stand and
new field house, added backstops, renovated the bathroom facilities,
and has even donated to the Independence Day Beacon Fireworks.
We also hold a softball benefit tournament each year that raises
thousands of dollars to benefit a local person in need.
